Life Time

So far so amazing. Everyone that I have come in contact with that works here are exceptional. From Sarah (Pilates) to Mariana (stretch) to Jane (personal trainer) to the young lady at the front desk (I forgot her name :( ) but she went above and beyond for me to get my membership squared away and to get me started. This lifetime is definitely my home away from home gym. I’ve been to so many gyms and to be honest so far this location and gym to me has been the most welcoming. They also have everything from indoor outdoor pool, to amazing classes, cafe, spa, to actual room on the floor to work out, and an amazing locker room. All great. Everything you need in one location. You all are Godsend to me. I can’t thank you enough. Yes worth it. 😃🙏🏼

Lifetime Schaumburg has become much more than a gym for me. It has been a place where I rebuilt my strength after injuries and found a community that keeps me coming back. EDG Cycling with Michelle is one of the highlights of my week. Because of limitations with my knees, cycling gives me a way to push myself without heavy impact on my knees. Michelle brings incredible energy to every class. She creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, challenged, and motivated. The music, the coaching, and the sense of community make every ride something I look forward to. I also have to mention Dan and the Alpha program. After years of running marathons, I reached a point where injuries left me unable to run, jump, or train the way I wanted. Dan never treated those limitations as barriers. He took the time to provide modifications while continuing to challenge me. His coaching gave me the confidence to progress safely instead of sitting on the sidelines. Because of Dan’s guidance, I have worked my way back to running short distances, lifting heavier than I thought I could, and even jumping rope again. Those are things I could not accomplish in similar classes with other instructors.

I have been going to the Schaumburg LTF for 10 years. In that time, Tim and the concierge staff have made every one who entered their doors feel welcome and expected. The group fitness classes with Colette are challenging and the Yoga classes with Alicia and Paige have been life changing. So good! Such a wonderful gym that offers clean amenities and indoor/outdoor family pools. I’m grateful that my family could experience the healthy way of life at Schaumburg LTF.

Dan is a 10/10 trainer. I had been out of the gym for well over a decade before joining Life Time about a month ago, and working with Dan in the Alpha classes has completely changed my life. In about one month, I've increased my squat from 65 to 125 pounds, gained so much confidence, and genuinely learned to enjoy going to the gym and being active again. I've even noticed the difference in my everyday life. Things like climbing stairs and lifting my toddler nephew are noticeably easier. One thing that really sets Dan apart is how well he adapts each workout to the individual as needed. I have an ongoing knee issue, and instead of making me feel limited, he's helped me work around it with modifications that keep me progressing safely. He's shown me that I can do things I honestly thought were out of reach, while always making sure I avoid movements that could aggravate my knee or cause further injury. Dan is incredibly encouraging, knowledgeable, and supportive. He creates a positive environment where everyone feels welcome, challenged, and successful. He celebrates your wins, pushes you to be your best, and genuinely cares about your progress. I'm so grateful for everything he's

I really like this gym, but I want to address a few important issues. The cleanliness is not at the level it should be — there is dust on the equipment and on all the windows. The towels have clearly seen better days and feel very rough. The hair dryers are awful — they get extremely hot and feel like they’re burning the hair. I pay $180 per month for my membership, so I expect a much higher standard. The equipment also seems outdated and should be upgraded to newer, more modern machines.
